There are a few good surf spots along the coast of Lebanon. However, the most consistent surf spots is in Jiyyeh called Mustapha’s A Frame. The spot got it’s name because it’s an A frame point break (splits rights & left) and was discovered by a local called Mustapha.

For the past 8 years surfing bas been reignited by the efforts of many enthusiasts in Lebanon with surf spots stretching from the North all the way to most southern part of the country.

You can find below some of the surf clubs in Lebanon. Currently Surf Lebanon, is home for the famous Mustapha’s A frame & Lebanon's leading surf and standup paddle school. They are also the main surf equipment provider in Lebanon.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Surfing in the UAE dates back to the 1990s. At the time the community was small and very well knit, and you could surf almost anywhere in UAE. The surf landscape changed drastically ever since the construction of the World Islands and three different Palms Islands, which resulted in only two stretches of of 'surfable' beaches in Dubai. These constructions serve as a breakwater stopping waves in their tracks before they're able to propagate to shore.

The surfing community has grown rapidly in the UAE led by the efforts of Surf House Dubai, who were the first to establish a proper store for surfing goods and organized the first Surf competition for the UAE in 2010 & later on in 2018.

In addition to a few spots across UAE in Umm Al Quwain & Fujairah, the country is home for the first surf pool in the Middle East. The surf pool that is one of many water sports activities at Wadi Adventure, and features an over three-meter high breaking waves every 90 seconds.

With a growing expatriate base the UAE continues to attract many beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers. Some of the big surfing names, such as Gaberial Medina have even visited the Surf pool to give it a go.

You can find below some of the recommended clubs to surf.
